The pocket can be sewn onto the bottom 3 7/8" of the "due date" backing following the dotted lines. Choose whether or not to use the puffin logo of the (fake) Cabot Cove, Maine Free Public Library or leave it plain. Either way there is 3" you can fold down at the top of the pocket and 7/8" you can turn under at the bottom and sides. These generous seam allowances give you the option to give the pocket some extra depth. The background behind the pocket pieces is plain white for better matching. There is an additional rectangle of buff fabric for extra trim.
