The Weather is the ideal ice breaker in the UK - Bordering on a national obsession it is the one thing you can talk to anyone about and get a response. It does rain quite a bit in London and if you are visiting you could come away with an impression that it rains all the time. Surprisingly, Rio, Sidney, Mexico City, Miami and New York all have more rainy days than London where it is frequent and showery and we would complain if it did not rain. For me, the rain is for getting cosy...dashing into coffee shops...and great for dancing in....
