The owls are Nancy's art, too. The neutral design of silvery sage has vivid accents of orange and dark blue. Size is 8 x 8 inches, in half-drop. The foxes came out of the woodland near sunset in order to hunt mice that lived in an old concrete structure that was crumbling. While I (Nancy) never approached them, they grew accustomed to me sitting quietly nearby. These kits had probably been born in late March and had remained in the den for about 50 days.
