This beautiful flower has several names based either on scientific phenomena (German "Nieswurz" [sneezewort]) or several decades of tradition (Oracle Flower, Christmas Rose or snow rose). The german name comes from the fact that any part of the Helleborus plant induces sneezing if ground to a fine powder and this phenomenon was used to sneeze off evil spirits and diseases. Today they are still used for medicinal purposes. We forgot that some so called poisonous plants heal in the right hands. It's always a matter of dose . I used watercolor for the flowers and added line art to combine the loose brick pattern. I think it could be used for many occasions. The pattern is offered in different colors and 3 sizes plus a solid. Please have a look. The name fleur de sel is a wall paint and can be found under this name.
