About the Design

Old fisherman + his Boat. Vintage Glass float too! This print won 7th place in past design

challenge. Now also on zipper pouch you can easily make.

* This project comes with both the fabric outer pieces plus the lining pieces. Four pieces. Zipper and or snap is not included of course. However I did provide a little piece for the fabric tab to hold your snap if needed. Basic Instructions: this pattern is real easy and fast. 30 to 45 minutes if you are used to sewing basics. I cut out on all the solid lines. 1. Take the liner and place in front of you face up. then layer the zipper across the top face up too. Finally lay one of the outer layers On top of the zipper face down. Now you have three pieces layered. Sew with your zipper foot (tho I did my sample with my reg. Foot) across the top as close to zipper as possible. Note: be sure and move your zipper key to the back or forward when trying to sew around. I keep my needle down, then move the zipper. Sew forward again after getting around the zipper key. In this step. 2. Now repeat the steps on the other side of the zipper with last two pieces of fabric. Now you can open up the pieces so that front is to back for outer pieces and lining on each side. 3. Sew all around (make sure that zipper is full open before this step as it will be used to turn inside out). Do not sew the bottom of liner. And be careful how you sew the end of the zipper so it does not pucker. Turn inside out, and topsew the liner closed. I fold the bottom a tiny bit under and iron first. Now you can turn the liner into the pouch through the open zipper and you’re done! Note: You can add the snap with fabric tab before you sew up the sides of front and back outer pieces. Place it inside the part you want it to show. The snap and part of the tab. This is Leaving the back part sticking out where you are sewing. I put mine up near the top near the zipper. I also add little dangles on the key zipper part for ornamental. ..
