Strength, heritage, and hope! The art shows my appreciation to the patriotic ancestors who loved and built this country. My town of Auburn puts up flags for individual veterans from Nemaha County as a tribute. The scene inspired my earlier panorama oil painting of "Patriotic Remembrances." On Veteran's Day 2024, I took new photos of individual flags, ones to use as references for this art. Bald eagles are catching fish from the Missouri River basin in a seamless design.
