This design is a tessellation of zombie scarecrow witches or witch-finders in symmetry group p2mg. Its nature may be ill-defined but it's clearly one of the scary undead things which is coming to get you. Currently displaying a 2-colourway version (which destroys some of the symmetry elements but reinstates them at double the unit cell size, unlike the minimum map colouring of 3) in the Synergy group's #8 haunted palette.
