As I was thinking of this in my head, I thought it might be a bit more than I could chew. It was!! Drawing a bunch of different people was the easy part. Making a file this large fit together into a repeat is really hard, and then I realized the bike chain was in front of the pedal gear. Such a small detail that no one will ever notice, but I had to fix it. So I had to bring the gear in front of the chain without bringing it in front of the pedal arm thingy and the legs and shoes for 44 gears (2 bikes x 22 gears). I fixed that, but then the bars attaching to the wheels, were not tiling properly - meanwhile each adjustment to the pattern was lagging 10 seconds due to the large file size. Ahhh! When I tried to save the file, Illustrator took a full snack and bathroom break to finally complete. I thought it was going to crash, and then I would have cried! I think I'll cry anyway, and then I never want to see this file again. ;)
