Large scale design. Each skull-and-crossbones is about 12 inches wide. This design was made all from hand cut paper including newsprint, painted paper and recycled magazines and catalogs. I cut the colors into 1/4 inch squares and assemble the collage on card stock. It is scanned and then turned into a repeating seamless pattern. This design has a skull and crossbones, with a pirate's treasure of gold beads, coins and jewels.
