One quarter yard shows the full 18" height of the design, and width will depend on the fabric or wallpaper you choose. The design repeats at 21" wide, starting left to right as shown. One swatch will give you 8" square as shown. Check to see what you need for your scale of dollhouse or miniature. Rugs shown are based on antique oriental carpets. I set recommendation to velvet, as it will give a texture similar to carpet pile. I would also recommend chiffon for ease of detail work, or peel-and-stick wallpaper swatches.
