Growing up in Texas is one of the best aspects of my life. My fondest memories as a kid always involve me spending time with my mother. She would take us to the park to pick thousands of pecans that had fallen from the trees. Afterwards, we would shell them with a cool nutcracker. And the best part, eat them.
