embroidery is something so beautiful. It is needle painting and the finishing touch for wonderful fabrics. Design and genuine embroidery simply belong together. This is a fake cross-stitch pattern using traditional European and Scandinavian ornaments with tiny, barely noticeable imperfections. Real embroidery is needlework, and the classic old patterns from museums were never perfect . I'm thinking about how it would look on a quilt if parts of it were re-embroidered.
