Ravens appear in the stories and myths of many ancient peoples from around the world. These
incredible, intelligent birds have inspired generations.
In the first winter of the pandemic I spent a lot of time taking long walks along Ketchikan’s waterfront. The ravens in this pattern are all based on the photos I took from the breakwater that winter. Recently the waterfront raven gang has moved on and that area of town is now dominated by crows. So the ‘unkindness’ has given way to a ‘murder’ most fowl, with probable caws. - Ray Troll
