This design is a nod to my home country South Africa and was inspired but the vivid colours and pattern work one of sees on the traditional clothing and houses of the African people. The chevron pattern within the rectangles/squares was inspired by the Ndebele People in South Africa. Colours used include: Kelly green, Turkish tile Blue; Peacock Blue; Viva Magenta; Vermillion orange; Artisan's Gold, and bone white on Kelly Green. I also used shades and tints of the above colours. Suitable for bedding, wallpaper, drapery, scatter cushions, even clothing for the daring. Definitely good for quilting too as it can be used as panel shapes for a unique quilt.
