Dark blue circle skirt pattern with moonflower design along the hem.

INSTRUCTIONS Cut 4 panels (Approximately 4.5 yards) Cut waistline to size (see cut line in upper left corner) Sew 4 panels together at side seams (1/2" seam allowance); leave one seam open 8" from top; press seams open, and press seam allowance back (to the inside) along both sides of 8" section Cut blue rectangle at right to the appropriate length for waistband (add 2" for seam allowances and overlap) Fold in half lengthwise with right sides inside and sew the ends closed; turn right side out Press ends and press the whole thing lengthwise so it's folded neatly Press one raw edge up 1/4" Sew other edge of waistband to the waistline, lining one end of the waistband up (use 1/4" seam allowance) Leave one end of waistband hanging off the opening by 1"; tuck the seam allowance inside waistband to make it closed; pin Pin the remaining folded edge of the waistband to the skirt, tucking all the seam allowances inside Pin and sew an 8" zipper into the 8" gap, tucking the top end of the zipper into the waisband Stitch the waistband closed to waistline so that everything is finished off. Make a horizontal buttonhole in the 1" tab on the waistband Sew a button on the waistband to fit the buttonhole Double fold hem under at 5/8 inch line and sew it down.
