Formal gazelles on a fawn and white linen weave. © Su Schaefer 2013 My inspiration for this design was the French Art Deco ceramicist Charles Catteau (1880-1966), who used the gazelle often as a motif in his work. Since starting these designs I've noticed many gazelles (not native in my country) featured in local Art Deco era buildings. View my other gazelle designs. Felt pen on paper, after Catteau, background applied, basic repeat. [Fabric: currently set @ 240 ppi & optimized for linen-cotton canvas, Wallpaper: 150, Decal: 240, Gift wrap: 346 ppi]
