The best part of the State Fair is the food, am I right?! But how do you choose what to eat with so many options and even more brightly-colored signs competing for your attention (and wallet)? When I was growing up, our city's annual festival had food vendors lined up in what was called 'Junk Food Alley'. My favorite meal: a pork tenderloin sandwich and a lemon shake-up, followed with a buttery-sugary elephant ear. Too bad the fair only happens once a year!
