Design includes all Bag pieces plus Instructions with reference photos Having an interest in Cut n Sew designs I simply couldn’t let the Holiday Gift Bag Contest pass by unnoticed. Making a Holiday Gift Bag from remnants of fabric can be a fun activity! So is designing a Cut n Sew Drawstring Bag for a Spoonflower Contest. But first I needed to create a Prototype Bag based on my design. You can read about it in a Blog Post http://wp.me/p4hRJO-dV Based on Screen Printed Christmas Cards that I made 30 years ago it was a pleasure to work on this design. Although based on the accounts given in the King James Bible especially Luke Chapter 2 & Matthew Chapter 1, a little Artistic licence has been used (as often is in these sorts of seasonal images). For example it is unlikely that the Wise Men (assumed as being three in number, due to the fact that 3 gifts - Gold Frankincense & Myrrh were presented to the Christ Child) were in attendance at the birth or even on the same occasion as the shepherds. Nevertheless this GIFT BAG holds special meaning to me because it depicts the birth of the Greatest Gift that Mankind has ever received. Blessings flow to those who accept this Gift of a Saviour - the Lord Jesus Christ. May this bag serve to remind you of the Birth, Death & Resurrection of Jesus Christ for in reality the Baby Jesus grew up to lead a Sinless Life in order to willingly give His Life to Save all of Mankind from their Sins.
