About the Design

This pattern makes an 18" (approx) doll of The Bride Due to the number of pieces this needs one of

the 56" wide fabrics.

This pattern uses 10mm/1cm seam allowances, just cut out the pieces and sew 1cm from the edges. I would recommend sewing then trimming and clipping any curved seam allowances. There is also a dart across the butt that needs sewing before sewing the back seam. Arms and legs are joined to the body with a button joint,a variety of tutorials for these can be found for these online. In regards to the bust you should hand sew these on after stuffing the body, lining up the curved seam with the top of the darts on the body, remembering to leave a small opening to stuff the cup. To shape the feet sew matching pieces together, sewing to the tip of the foot, leaving the end open. Line both sewn seams up on top of each other to flatten the toes. Sew across the end of the foot in a gentle curve to create the shape of the toes
