My ancestors came to America on vessels like these. This design utilizes two of my original acrylic ship paintings, along with a few pencil sketches. The paintings were unfinished, so I'm glad a contest came along to inspire me to revisit them. I believe these old beautiful vessels are much happier and alive now that they are joined together.
