This design is the roiling coils of 3 celtic-styled dragons flying out of a stone-walled pit. In other words: "... and out of the pits of Angband there issued the winged dragons ...". The main unit is hand-drawn and has then been repeated on a hexagon background. Currently displaying a version with a watercolour stain applied to the various elements - in old gold on slate blue.
