This design is ribbons of 35mm film (in proportion though not necessarily to scale) as they might appear when pulled from a reel or spool for frame inspection or tossed onto the cutting room floor during editing. These strips are modelled on the highly successful 35mm format with the classic "Academy" aspect ratio of 11:8 (1.375:1). Currently displaying a white background version in the synergy group's #9 movie palette.
