This was my original concept for the Canadian Wildlife contest. Though I loved the design I decided I should try again, aiming for more realistic antlers in my mandala. It actually ended up being more of a quatrefoil but I was pleased with it. You will find that design and a number of other variations in this collection, titled Antler Inspirations.
I see this design as highly useful for home decor items ranging from wallpaper to an elegant tablecloth. The simple color scehem of blue and brown allows it to flow smoothly through the seasons. In a smaller size I would love to use it for a blouse, skirt or dress. I'd also love to see what a skilled quilter could do with it!
