glue onto a ribbon or fabric tape.
My inspiration? Christmas candy, the sweet pastel kind. This design is also inspired by love of rainbows, stars and of course Christmas. This Christmas in particular could do with being brighter and more festive. If we cannot visit family a home made gift or DIY project could be just the ticket.
Each flag is approx. 5' (13.5cm) wide by 5.5' (14cm) long. This bunting includes 21 single sided flags per fat quarter. Simply cut and sew or glue onto a ribbon or fabric tape and you are ready to decorate. I use approx. 5 yards (4.6m) ribbon leaving a 17' (45cm tail) and a 2' (5cm) space between each flag. As there are 21 flags, 3 lengths of 7 flags is also a great combination. For 21 double sided flags purchase 2 fat quarters. Cut out triangles, sew right sides together leaving the short side open, turn right side and press. I like to make a bias ribbon in a complementary fabric to encase the raw ends. For complimentary fabrics see my Christmas Candy Collection.
