are the delicate internet of the natural world.
I chose mycelium as my subject for the Microscopic Worlds contest because I am fascinated by this natural “internet” connection that runs underground and connects fungi with each other. These delicate filaments even help trees communicate with each other and share information about climate and soil conditions—in addition to sharing nutrients!It is designed to coordinate with my “‘Shrooms” print, as part of my ‘Funky Fungi”collection. I hope to add other coordinates soon. As always, let me know if you’d like this in a different scale or colorway. I will try my best to accommodate special requests.
