with a hint of ivory, on textured dark brown.
-This skirt requires purchase of 3 continuous yards of fabric. This includes 7 skirt panels, (5 full panels and 2 half panels for the back) plus a long continuous width of fabric, which runs the length of the yardage. The width of this section will vary, depending on the width of the fabric chosen. 42" wide fabric will yield a 4" wide strip of fabric, 58" fabric will yield a 20" wide strip. -This layout is for a basic circle skirt. The project requires individualized customization and is recommended for those with prior experience fitting and altering garments. The customer will be required to customize both the waist, and hemline for a personalized fit, in addition to creating a waistband. -Circumference notches are provided in the seam allowances, as a guide for marking a customized waist seam. The circumferences are exact circle sizes and do not include fitting ease. *Please note: these measurements do not compensate for shrinkage during the printing process and laundering process. ***Please follow Spoonflower's guidelines for washing the fabric.*** -To mark the waist line, measure from the top of the printed fabric down to your waist circumference notch in the seam allowance. Using this measurement, add additional marks to create your personalized waist seam; connect the dots, with a curved ruler. * I found it easiest to assemble the skirt first, then mark the waist seam line onto the wrong side of the fabric. -3/4" seam allowances provided on all vertical seams. I recommend a 1/2" or smaller seam allowance at the waist. The full panel lengths are 29.5" Panel lengths based on waist circumferences. 24" = 28.9"L: 26"=28.6"L: 28"=28.27"L: 30"=27.9"L: 32"=27.63": 34"=27.32 36"=27"L: 40"=26.3"L: 42"=26"L The design elements stop approximately 3 1/4" above the bottom of each panel.
