This collection of twenty-five images of colorful fish from Alaska showcases fish bellies dappled with speckles or "rose-moles" as they are poetically called. Here are photos of Dolly Varden trout, Arctic char, and lake trout. All images were originally taken by Fish and Wildlife service staff and are in the public domain. Dr Katrina Liebich arranged these images and shared them with fellow nature enthusiasts. The Petal Signature Cotton is a bit rough for this design, but Organic Cotton Sateen should suit quiltmaking.
