eyes staring back at me from the center of the zig

I can't help but look at the darker of the alternating vertical stripes in this design and see two eyes staring back at me from the center of the zig zags. Lots of tiny dots, herringbone stripes, and twisting green vines with chocolate brown outlines here. From a distance this would look almost woven and worn, like the texture of well washed blue jeans. I can easily see this sliced vertically to make borders in a quilt or applique. (file L93p2)
