white dots with a drop shadow on cherry red.
Dotted Swiss was first created in the mid 18th century, in Switzerland. It was woven on hand looms. The special weaving technique has now been replaced with techniques such as flocking. When I was a little girl I loved Dotted Swiss fabric. The little raised dots fascinated me. Maybe it was because my Mom made us pretty dresses with it. Maybe I'm just a bit goofy and liked the raised dots. At any rate here is my digital version. There is of course no raised texture but I have created that illusion. Being a simple design, it is versatile and can be used for shirts and blouses, tablecloths, napkins, quilting, etc. If you prefer a different size of dot just let me know!
