I initially designed this pattern with the intention of printing it on fabric and using it as a background for bulletin boards. This was during my time as a teacher at a school that embraced the "mighty elk" as its mascot, with maroon and gold as our colors. The pattern beautifully blended nature, elk imagery, and a rustic yet whimsical feel, perfectly bringing my vision to life. I believe it feels young and fresh!
