My take on a holiday Toile. I lost my Firefighter husband to Covid in Dec 2020 and have been struggling with finding my creativity that disappeared with him. I've wanted to craft and create, but I've just been staring at blank screens, blank paper, etc.. The past month I've "forced" myself to try and come up with something for the weekly design challenges and really didn't think I would have anything "enough" for a detailed design requirement like this Toile! But surprisingly some last minute creativity hit and - after a couple of (almost) all night drawing and design sessions - I ended up with this slightly Toile-like design.. charming , but with a touch of fun here and there! And just about everything is inspired by my late Love - Assistant Chief Aaron Ledsome.
