I have always been fascinated with why people kill others. It just seems so random and aggressive. Lizzie Borden is an example of randomness and weirdness. She was from Fall River, Mass, and the story was never really verified. Did she kill them? Maybe not but she will forever be an ax murderer. I took that opportunity to create a vintage-style Circus poster. I used her face and did the rest digitally. In this poster, she is an AX Thrower. A little sick humor there. I have other panels that would make a great quilt to sit under during the month of October to channel the spirit of Halloween,
