While making this design, I had fun recalling a time long ago when a friend and I made a pinata for home economics class. It was sleep over project one cold winter. And even though we set it by the fireplace to dry...it was still a bit damp for class. How were we silly teens to know that even though more layers of paper mache made it stronger...it also added to the drying time? Common sense maybe? Along with the pinata, we were works in progress. :) Nevertheless, we had fun making it and we were able to beat the candy out of it.
