I think of what a witch would grow in her garden.
Hemlock, nightshade, fly amanita are just a few of the more witchy plants that come to mind when I think of what a witch would grow in her garden. I imagine them using them to create spells, poisons, and the like. Along with a few crystals and candles, I wanted to give a more natural, woodsy vibe to spoonflower's witch-themed design challenge, which is reflected in both the subject matter and color palette The original drawings were done in micron pen in my sketchbook, and edited and color added in Procreate.
