Wallpaper Scale: One fan shaped tile spans one 24" roll of wallpaper across Easter Lilies - originating in Japan's Ryukyu Islands - gained in popularity in England in the early 1800s and later in America and quickly took on spiritual significance. The name Easter Lily comes from biblical references to a white lily as a symbol of purity and rebirth, such as the Easter resurrection of Jesus. The flower represents motherhood in Pagan tradition. I thought the religious symbolism of the Easter Lily paired well with stained glass, a defining feature of 19th century churches of England. I replaced the usual Gothic or Victorian styles with art deco, with a classic fan or scallop pattern that fits the shape of the Easter Lilies perfectly. I gave the flowers a blue and purple watercolor paint job in @adobedrawing Fresco to contrast the metallic outlines (every petal received a heavy gradient stroke in @vectornator) that characterize many art deco designs.
