Hi there! This piece is inspired by the Firewheel Tree (Stenocarpus sinuatus) which is a tropical rainforest tree found in Australia from Queensland through to New South Wales. The particular tree that sparked this series was stumbled upon whilst on a walk/hike with my cousin around Mosman in Sydney on a fine autumn day recently.
