The artist, Lynn Bond, is a photographer and graphic designer as well as a textile designer. Her textile designs quite often are created from or inspired by her photos. This pattern is from a photo of a "fiddlehead" fern frond. The fuzzy curl created an interesting pattern and look nice on the pale aqua blue background. For this entry, Lynn wanted a cool, sophisticated look, but inspired by nature.
