This week @Spoonflower the weekly design challenge topic is Surrealist Wallpaper. I took inspiration for my design from Salvador Dali's "The Persistence of Memory". Instead of the seashore of Catalonia I placed my melting watches in the southwestern deserts of the US. Surrealism artwork is often inspired by dreams, but has also been known to be inspired by psychoactive substances as well. I have included in my artwork the Sonoran Desert toad, and the Peyote cactus as symbols of this process.
