This design was originally created for the October 2023 ' Apricity' Design Challenge. A word that I did not know before. It means enjoying the winter sun. Each winter, I flea the dreary Dutch winter to bask in the Southern European sunshine. As I did when creating this design. Inspired by the Spanish, or Portuguese mosaic tiles that line floors and tables here, I found my vocabulary enriched with a very suiting word: apricity!
