Chester, UK.
The beautiful crocus flower in a singular form, drawn traditionally from pencil and paper sketch to digital painting. Reference of the delicate flower was sourced from the natural world that surrounds Chester, UK. A range of purple tones build up the colour embedded on to a crisp white background, allowing the single flower to pop out in its beauty. The shape of the design has been achieved by identifying the shapes that make up the whole piece and using identifiable marks unique to my own illustration process, including delicate flicks and curves.
