Fall Asters hold a very special place in my heart. My grandpa, Leon Torsey, had them growing next to the porch. Their delicate purple petals would shade us against the fall sun as Grandpa told me his stories of days of old. Finding these little Asters defying all odds and growing strong and healthy amongst the rugged cliffs of Long Island Maine brought me right back to those childhood memories. No matter how rough things are life will find a way just like these lovely little Asters.
