The larger flowers on this came from a monster sprite from the original Final Fantasy games, the smaller designs are my own. I liked how this looked on the screen, but LOVED how it came out when I saw it actually printed. The pixels look like embroidery/tapestry/needle point, and that added a whole unexpected dimension to the look. It looks very old (like a few centuries old) and very contemporary at the same time.
