This graceful and delicate design of horizontal sine waves and vertical scallop orbs with twisting stems and perky leaves sprouting from them, looks absolutely awful on my computer screen. The reason is that the monitor turns the calm aqua into a screaming swimming pool light cyan, and the subdued green into a psychedelic parrot lime. Neither are colors in this design. I made a scan of the actual printed fabric but wonder if the same forces that made the colors bloom on my monitor, for the mock up, will do the same thing on the photograph. Click on the second box below and see if you can see the subdued shades this design is really in. (file g37e)
