appliqued onto jumpers in fun patterns! © Su Schaefer 2018
’Applique bows, à la Schiaparelli, by Su_G' (https://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/3407635): Applique bows, infilled with a navy and copper checkerboard pattern, in the style made famous by the couturier Elsa Schiaparelli. Original: Crayon + metallic oil. © Su Schaefer 2018 I imagine these bows printed onto one of the shiny fabrics and sewn or appliqued onto jumpers or tops to add a touch of glamour (or to mend holes such as those left by moths). Fitting the maximum amount of bows (such an awkward shape!) into an 8 x 8" swatch was a challenge. Original: Crayon + metallic oil on paper, after Schiaparelli, basic repeat - although each 8 x 8" swatch is independent + can be cut out separately; 56" wide fabric is needed for whole multiples. [Currently set @ Fabric: 300 ppi; Half-drop repeat: Wallpaper: 200 ppi] [ Fabric proofing @ 300 ppi. This was a test for applique bows, infilled with a navy and copper checkerboard pattern, in the style made famous by Schiaparelli. ? Refer visitors to Fashion fabrics? ]
