'Mr Bradshaw's Spoons by Su_G' (https://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/4034694): My entry in the Spoonflower ‘Spoons’ Contest. Original: Semi-metallic oil © Su Schaefer 2015 My title refers to Joseph Bradshaw, an English pastoralist, who - in the 1890s - was the first European to record and document the so-called 'Bradshaw figures': a major Aboriginal rock art form found in the Kimberley region of Australia (this art is also known as Gwion or Gwion Gwion, and Wanjina). After I painted my spoons I saw that they seemed to reference some of the Wanjina figures, so I decided to name them after Mr Bradshaw. See other designs by Su_G.
