Poetess I want to write a little rhyme but find that, if I take the time, we won't have anything to wear. s'all dirty in the hamper there. I've floors to mop and plates to clean and bathtub ring and something green growing in the fridge in back. (Which, I believe, will soon attack) I've cobwebs hanging from the beams. I need to sit and mend some seams and register my girl at school, put away the wading pool, weed the garden, mash the trash, hit the bank with checks to cash, post a letter, unclog drains, paint the fence, wash window panes. The living room is far from straight so poetry will have to wait. © Sharon Passmore
