The "Dancing Prisms" collection has been derived from one of my other designs, "Tearful Ogre Bargello." I chose the lightest versions of that design and extracted a section I was especially attracted to. I prefer "Dancing Prisms" to the bargello in some ways, but also love the wavy lines which form scallops in the original design.
I love the fanciful lines, and the images that can be found within them in this design . . . . doves, gargoyles, ogres, etc. We'll all likely see something different! I love the refracted light. It brings me joy. It reminds me of a time when I had a collection of prisms hanging outside on my patio. In the late afternoon the sunbeams would shine through them, reflecting myriad dancing rainbows all over my den. The children and I always loved this special time of day, when the den was filled with wonder.
I see the large version of the design as useful for draperies, wallpaper and duvet covers.
