Hodden is a coarse undyed wool fabric native to Scotland; it is created by the combining of white or light wool with a small amount of dark wool. Wadmel was similarly woven in Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Greenland, and the Orkney, Faroe and Shetland Islands. Hodden was adopted by the London Scottish Regiment and the Toronto Scottish Regiment for their uniforms. This is a recolored variant of the original pink/brown/grey fabric.
