I live in Manoa on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. It rains here almost daily. If it's sunny on the island, I can almost guarantee that we have clouds and rain in Manoa at some point during the day, if not all day. I love it here. We have our own weather separate to the rest of the island. This print is inspired by the dark rain clouds that come over to us from the windward part of the island, just on the other side of the mountains that surround our valley. And the umbrella, because we do love our pretty umbrellas on this island. This print is inspired by rainy days in Manoa Valley.
