I created this print by collecting a bunch of maple leaves, creating rubbings with them and digitally colouring them in Photoshop. The pattern has a lovely texture up close which shows off the pencil marks and the shape and roughness of the leaves. The colour scheme is a very pale grey on a very very dark blue, so the design has a cool tone overall.
